Mother Diarada von Gurbrü CH is herself successful in sport up to 1.40 metres. She produced the former Suisse Elite foal Corrada by Gurbrü, a blood marked exceptional talent, who is now classified up to 1.35 metres as a six year old under Pia Reich. Granddam Quilaura CH was qualified for the CH Championship at 4-6 years and successful up to 1.40 metres. Her half siblings are equally successful: Corassini von Gurbrü CH licensed, 4-7 year old qualified for the CH Championship, sold to the USA, Heartbeat E.S. CH licensed and successful up to S-level jumping and Aroha CH, 4-6 year old qualified for the CH Championship and classified up to 1.30 metres, who in turn produced another excellent offspring (see Camaro von Gurbrü). Out of Commander's further direct dam line come numerous top sport horses classified up to 5*, such as Heartwinner von Gurbrü CH, who competed under Romain Duguet.

Sire Comme il faut's pedigree is a collection of top-class horses. Sire Cornet Obolensky, Clinton, Corrado, Heartbreaker, Nimmerdor, Randel Z or Ramiro were not only sire giants, but also proved their quality and willingness to perform even in international show jumping. Especially impressive in Comme il faut's pedigree are the mares. Rabanna and Holivea have placed in top class show jumping competitions. Ratina Z and Heurika Z were perhaps the world's best sport mares in their time. The highlight of 2019 for Comme il faut was the European Championships in Rotterdam. Comme il faut and Marcus Ehning finished as Vice European Champions in the team and fifth in the individual classification. With clear rounds in Nations Cups, victories in Grand Prix and numerous top placings in the Global Champions Tour and in World Cup show jumping, he was able to convince. With a breeding value of 145 and a safety of 92 % in young horse jumping tests, he is already among the TOP 1 % of show jumping sires.
